School Reopening:
Because of the pandemic – COVID – 19 the school reopening time i.e. in the month of April, total lockdown all over world was being followed. But still the new academic session for the year 2020-21 was commenced from 1st April 2020 for classes 9th, 10th and 12th. The teachers took online classes from ‘Home’ through zoom App. From 1st June onwards the online classes began from class 1st to 12th through zoom app and WhatsApp.
Academic Achievements:
Excellence in academic is the hallmark of a good institution. After eagerly waiting for board results 2019-20, Hema Choure of Std -XII scored 91.6% and bagged the first position. Rishabh Raghuwanshi scored 88.2% with second position and Deepa Sanodiya scored 87% and took 3rd position. From class X – Munnazza Siddiqui scored 96.8% and made us feel proud. Ansh Jain scored 92.4% and Mithlesh Mourya scored 87.2%. The credit of excellent performance goes to our efficient teachers, laborious students and dedicated parents.
Celebrations:
Usually all the National Days, like Independence Day, Republic Day and Birthdays of Great National leaders, also Children’s Day, Teacher’s Day, School Day, Diwali, Id and Christmas Celebration were celebrated with great zeal and enthusiasm in school, but because of the pandemic COVID-19, all these celebrations were done virtually in the absence of students in schools. Our teachers conducted the celebration among themselves in schools and posted the videos and pictures in class group.
School Parliament:
“A leader is one who knows the way, goes the way, and shows the way.”
Despite the widespread of the pandemic the indomitable spirit of young talented leaders of Nirmala English Medium School, Chhindwara was commemorated by means of investiture ceremony on 7th Nov. 2020. Duties vouch safe to inculcate the leadership qualities and to give students a feel of functioning of administrative body, a new school council for the year 2020-21 was invested. The specialty of the council (parliament) was that – all the students were from std XII. It was a solemn occasion where the young students were given the responsibility entrusted upon them by the school.
Teachers Enrichment Program: -
As teachers are also learners. Our teachers stay updating themselves by attending webinars and various training programs to enhance their skills. Many webinars from CBSE were attended by our teachers and they obtained certificates for the same.

New Installations in School Building: -
- Our school building was equipped already with CCTV cameras. In view of having safe campus a few more CCTV cameras were installed in the school building and around again in 2020-2021.
- Also, the fire security system is installed in school building, which is of great use in the time of emergency.
- Children’s safety is the foremost priority of our school.
Conclusion:
As we conclude, it should be mentioned in this session 2020-21 of COVID-19, our teachers relentless work to provide online classes can’t be forgotten.
Parent’s support and co-operation has always been noteworthy.
So we sum up by saying that “Success is journey not a destination and I want all the literans to come with us in this journey. Together we will win and make a difference for our young minds.
